24. i) VCI cannot be held responsible for any mistakes in the publishing of prices or other palpable errors which lead to prices or conditions being posted other than those intended, or bets being accepted that contravene these rules. ii) In all cases, except any bets placed in-running, bets will be settled at the correct price but we will endeavour to contact the client to inform them of the error and offer them a choice of keeping the bet at the correct price or having the bet voided. iii) If no contact is made in response by the client the bet will stand and be settled at the proper odds. Despite our every effort to ensure total accuracy, we reserve the right to correct obvious errors. iv) For bets placed in-running that are accepted at incorrect prices and are obvious errors, all bets will be made void and the customer will not be contacted.

25. i) Each-way bets are settled on a win to win/place to place basis only. No other method is permitted for the settlement of each-way bets. ii) Settlement of each-way bets will be governed by the number of actual starters and not the number of declared runners when the bet was laid. iii) Where an each-way bet is inadvertently accepted for a race or event which is Win Only, the total stake will be invested for a Win. iv) We do not accept 'PLACE ONLY ' bets (unless specifically stated in the terms of a special bet). Any Place stake accepted in excess of the Win stake will be made void. v) For Horse & Greyhound Racing each-way terms, see sections by each sport below. iv) For sports events the each-way terms are those indicated at the time of placing the bet. The place terms are usually updated as the event progresses.

26. i) Where a price is requested, it will apply to that selection on all bets within your betting slip. ii) All Horse & Greyhound racing bets will be settled at Starting Price, unless a price is taken at the time the bet is placed. For non-racing events, this will be the price available at the time the bet was placed.

27. We do not accept any bet at Tote Odds.

28. In the event of a Dead-Heat the stake money on a selection is divided by the number of runners involved in the dead-heat. The full odds are then paid to this reduced stake, with the remainder of the stake money being lost.

28a. We pay out on Disqualified Winners as well as the Official Result* on UK & Irish racing, except where disqualification is due to the horse taking the wrong course or carrying the wrong weight. (Maximum payout is £50,000 in this event.) * Does not apply to Forecast or Tricast bet.
Official Result is defined as the result after the announcement of the "Weighed In"
Forecast betting will be settled on the official result only.

28b. In the event of a situation occurring which is not specifically covered by the rules above, the 'Tattersalls Rules of Betting' will be used to determine the fair settlement of bets.

29. Where the same selection is backed to win two or more events in an accumulative bet a special combined price will apply irrespective of any individual prices quoted. Where no special combined price is available e.g. a horse to win a Derby trial and the Derby, settlement will be based on the first available odds after each leg has been completed.

30. Forecast Betting i) Straight & Reversed Forecast bets are accepted in horse and greyhound races of 3 or more runners. ii) Bets will be settled on the Computer Straight Forecast dividend which is declared to a 1 unit stake. iii) In greyhound racing, if no forecast is declared, bets will be settled in accordance with the N.S.L Straight Forecast Chart. iv) Unnamed favourites are not accepted in Forecast bets. v) If a selection in a Forecast bet is a non-runner, the bet will be void. v) Forecasts inadvertently taken on races with only 2 runners will be void.

31. Tricast Betting i) Tricasts are accepted on Horse Races that are Handicaps with 8 or more declared runners, and all BAGS & BEGS Greyhound races with 6 or more runners. ii) If a selection in a Tricast is a non-runner, the bet will be settled on the remaining two runners as a Forecast to the same stake.
In combination Tricasts: -if there is 1 non-runner, tricasts including that selection will be settled as a forecast; -if there are 2 non-runners, tricasts including them both will be void.

32. i) A Void selection is treated as a non-runner for settlement purposes. ii) In a Single bet the stake is returned. In a Multiple bet the stake is left to run-on to the remaining selections in a bet. For example, a treble with one non-runner effectively becomes a double for settling purposes.

33. i) Unless special odds are quoted (including Scorecasts), multiple bets (doubles and upwards) are not accepted that involve related contingencies, i.e. more than one prediction in the same event where the outcome of one directly effects the other. Eg. A football team to win 3-0 in a double with the same team to win the match after 90 minutes, would not be accepted. If taken in error, the stake will be divided equally as separate singles. ii) If we do offer a special price on events occurring which relate to each other, eg. Tiger Woods to win all 4 golf Majors, these wagers will be Singles Only.

34. The result of all events is determined by the official result as published by the UK Press Association.

35. Under the terms of our licence residents of Gibraltar are not permitted to have accounts with VCUK.

i) All bets will stand irrespective of vacant traps, void races and abandoned meetings. Where there is a dead-heat in a race, each dog will be awarded one win. Dead-heat rules apply to outright result.

4) General
i) All dog bets placed where both a trap number and dog name are specified will be settled according to the name of the chosen dog. In the event of that dog being replaced by a reserve then all bets on that named selection will be treated as non-runners. ii) In the event of the website specifying a trap number only, then bets will be settled on that trap number. In the event of a reserve dog running from that trap all bets will stand. iii) If a Greyhound is withdrawn before a race, all Board Prices laid prior to the withdrawal will be settled at Starting Price. In the event of a non-runner in a race with Early Prices, bets on the non-runner will be void, with bets on the remaining runners being settled at S.P. iv) Where a race has been declared void and IS re-run, all bets will stand. Board prices laid on void races will not be valid for the re-run and bets will be settled at SP. For betting purposes a re-run race is taken in the order which it was originally placed in the card. v) In the event of a greyhound being withdrawn from a race with early/board prices available, bets will be settled at starting price.

FOOTBALL
1) General
i) Singles are accepted on ALL matches unless otherwise specified. ii) All soccer match bets apply to full 90 minutes play unless otherwise stated. This includes injury time but not extra-time and golden goal or penalty shoot-outs. iii) In certain tournaments we may offer odds for a team to progress to the next round, and it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the correct option is chosen before submitting a wager. iv) Should a match be abandoned before 90 minutes play then all bets will be declared void unless the outcome of that bet has already been decided. This may apply to, for example, 1st Goalscorer, Half-Time Betting, Time of 1st Goal.

Goal Minutes
The goal minutes market is the total of the time in minutes of each goal scored. A goal scored in the 10th minute will be settled as 10 - i.e. goal time = 23mins 25secs, this is the 24th min and will be settled as 24.
All in jury time goals will be counted as either 45 for injury time at the end of the first half or 90 for injury time at the end of the second half.
This bet is 90mins only - extra time and penalties do not count. For team goal minutes own goals count for the team that are awarded the goal.

Time Of Bets
Bets on 'Time of 1st/last goal', 'Time of 1st corner', 'Time of 1st booking' and interval bets will be settled as the time shown by the major UK TV station broadcasting the match. For the 'Time of 1st Corner' market, the time that the corner is taken will count. For the 'Time of the 1st booking market', the time that the player is shown the card will count. In the event of a dispute, the decision of Opta Index will be final. If the match is not covered by British TV or Opta, the verdict of the majority of the following websites will be final:
www.soccerbase.com
www.soccernet.com
www.soccerbot.com
www.bbc.co.uk

NOTE: Live updates including Current Score, Total Bookings and Total Corners on Betting In-Running markets are for information only. Whilst we will make every effort to ensure this information is correct, it is the client's responsibility to check that any facts on which bets are struck are accurate.

2) Scorecasts
i) If your selected player comes on after the 1st goal has been scored, or does not take part at all, your bet will revert to a Single on the Correct Score. ii) Own Goals do not count. iii) If a match is abandoned but a goal has been scored, a Scorecast will be settled as a 1st Goalscorer single. If no goal has been scored, then all bets are void.

Football Wincast
The named player must start the match otherwise bets void on that player, regardless of the final result and any substitute appearance. Bets on players not taking part in the match will be void as will bets on `first player to score` where the selection comes on after the 1st goal is scored. All players that have been on the field of play before the next goal is scored will be deemed runners.
If for any reason the press association does not produce statistic giving the names of players scoring for the matches outside the UK, then settlement will be based on information obtained from the national newspapers of the relevant country.
Subsequent enquiries by official bodies will not be considered for settlement purposes.
Please note that `own goals do not count` in the settlement of bets. In the event of a specified goal bet being placed in running, and an own goal is scored all bets will automatically be made void.

In the event of uncertainty about who scored the goal, settlement will be determined by the press association.
For the purposes of any bet on shirt numbers, a player will be deemed to wear throughout the game the shirt worn at the start of play (or in case of a substitute, when he comes on to the pitch).
Any player whose shirt bears no number on his first joining the field of play will be allocated number 12.

US SPORTS RULES
GENERAL
1. All sporting events must be played on the scheduled date. Where an event is re-scheduled to a different time but on the same date as originally stated, bets will stand. Where a game is re-scheduled to a different date all bets will be void. This applies to US football, basketball, baseball and hockey.
2. Customers may not combine related bets e.g. the Outrights and the Handicap lines on the same game. If taken in error the bet will be settled as separate singles.
3. Las Vegas Rules apply for any occurrences not fully covered here.
4. US Sports rules apply to all US Sports (American Football, Basketball, Baseball and Ice Hockey) irrespective of where the event takes place.

3. European Basketball - O/T will count only to determine the result of the game and not the result of a two game series. O/T counts to determine Total Points.
4. For both totals and sides betting all stakes are returned when the final score falls on the handicap line ( in America termed as a 'push' )
5. Euro Player Specials - Bets are void if named player plays no part in the game. Bets stand if named player takes any part in the game.

BASEBALL
1. Winners and losers are official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4.5 innings. Extra innings count on all wagers.
2. If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by Las Vegas rules (game and totals).
